Palm Springs Wedding Venues

bride and groom jumping into the pool at Bougainvillea Estate at their Palm Springs wedding

We all know that planning a Palm Springs wedding can be a stressful endeavor. The first step towards achieving that dream wedding though, and alleviating some of that initial planning stress, is finding the perfect Palm Springs wedding venue. Unfortunately, for couples such as yourselves getting married in beautiful Palm Springs, the venue options can seem limitless. Between all the country clubs, hotels, and estates, it can feel like finding the perfect venue for your Palm Springs wedding is like finding a needle in a haystack. Fear not though, your friends at Bass & Bliss are here to help you out on your journey to finding the perfect location for the party of the year you are about to throw.

One quick tip for you: although we all know that looking at pictures and reading reviews are a great place to start, don’t be afraid to do a little vendor research before picking your venue. Wedding vendors have spent WAY more time at these venues than you have, so don’t be afraid to reach out and ask for a little help!

Below are some amazing venues that we wholeheartedly stand behind as a DJ company. If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask any questions you might have!

Bougainvillea Estate

Indio, CA

Bougainvillea Estate is one of the most beautiful estate venues in the entire Palm Springs area. The ceremony location next to the pond is beautiful, and your reception space is hidden behind the house, so not only do you not have to worry about guests invading it early, but you also get the chance to “reveal” it to everyone as they enter the space for the first time. The house itself is gorgous, and with the layout they’ve created, you feel like you are in your own private space even though the estate is just off the road. We even have our little raised platform area just for the DJ!

Omni Rancho Las Palmas

Rancho Mirage, CA

The Omni in Rancho Mirage boasts one of the coolest reception spots in the entire Palm Springs area! After you enjoy your beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour, you can head up to the roof of the hotel for your rooftop wedding reception! And because you’re at a hotel, there is even an indoor bar space that can be used for an afterparty should you want to continue the fun after that pesky noise ordinance kicks in! Plus the columns that run along the length of the rooftop make for the perfect spot to put our uplights and create extra ambiance for you.

Parker Palm Springs

Palm Springs, CA

The Parker Palm Springs is one of the most glamorous spots you could choose to have your Palm Springs wedding. You may even recognize it from some of the movies and/or TV shows that it has been in! The Parker is a huge property with multiple options for your ceremony space, as well as both ballroom and outdoor spaces for your dinner. Most couples choose to have dinner outside under the Palm Springs stars and then move inside for dancing, but we say “you do you” and choose wherever you’d like!

If you’d like to see more about a real wedding we did at The Parker, you can check out that blog post HERE

The Ace Hotel

Palm Springs, CA

The Ace Hotel is one of the most “Palm Springsy” places you can choose to have your Palm Springs wedding. If keeping those Palm Springs vibes is important to you, then this is a great place to check out! It does have multiple spots you can have your wedding, although the Grove in the back is by far the most popular as the other space can only accommodate very small weddings. The reception space is unique and a great spot to show off all of the lighting we bring (hint hint). It also has retractable walls on two sides so you can keep the warm Palm Springs air coming in (as long as you don’t violate any noise rules of course)

The Living Desert

Palm Desert, CA

The Living Desert Zoo is another incredibly unique space for your Palm Springs wedding. Not only are you getting married at the zoo, but you get the opportunity to have your cocktail hour at the giraffe exhibit and actually feed the giraffes! Your reception is held in the beautiful Palm Gardens amongst the palm trees.

Please be aware, however, that becauase your cocktail hour is around live animals, that music is not allowed

If you’d like to see a highlight video from a reception we DJ’ed at The Living Desert, you can check it out HERE

Grand Hyatt Indian Wells

Indian Wells, CA

The Grand Hyatt in Indian Wells is a great spot for a wedding, if for no other reason than it gives you options! With multiple places to hold your ceremony and reception, as well as multiple spots to host an after party (with a killer DJ of course), you have lots of possibilities here! As you can see, on of the ceremony locations gives you a beautiful view of the lake, and just in case you were wondering, they do allow alpacas on site*!

*Yes, this was an actual wedding at The Hyatt where the bride and room rented alpacas to be there during cocktail hour and, yes, it was awesome

Cree Estate

Cathedral City, CA

The Historic Cree Estate is another awesome estate venue if you’re looking for somewhere for the crew to spend the entire weekend together for your Palm Springs wedding. It has dedicated areas for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception which makes the whole day flow really smoothly. And it DOES have multiple pools, so if you get caught up in that Palm Springs heat, they’ve got you covered. And while they do have to adhere to local noise ordinances, from a DJ perspective, they have always been easy to work with (which we can’t say for every venue).

Please note that due to these noise ordinances, there are restrictions on where we can set up and which way our speakers can be pointing. Feel free to consult with us beforehand if you have questions!

Ritz Carlton

Rancho Mirage, CA

The Ritz-Carlton in Rancho Mirage is a great place for a traditional, eloquent Palm Springs wedding. Your ceremony can be held outdoors in the beautiful weather (like most venues) with cocktails on the patio before heading inside to the ballroom for your luxurious reception. If you are looking for your more traditional ballroom vibes, the Ritz-Carlton is a great place to check out. One of the last weddings we did there, we lit the ballroom up in hot pink and it looked SO GOOD!

Emerson Estate

Thermal, CA

Emerson Estate is the last estate venue on our list, but it is a doozy! This venue is gorgeous, and is more on the outskirts of the Coachella Valley, so if you like being away from some of the hustle and bustle (or just like being closer to horses), this may be the spot for your perfect Palm Springs wedding. Typically your ceremony and cocktail hour are held out front, and then your guests get to be wow’ed as they come around to the back for your reception. Plus, you will have tons of photo opportunities amongst the palm trees!

Alcazar

Palm Springs, CA

The Alcazar is a boutique hotel in Palm Springs, right on the outskirts of the downtown district. So if you love the actual city of Palm Springs, and all it has to offer, this is a great venue that puts you right in the middle of it! The ceremony space is beautiful and places you right in front of a water structure while the reception is held around the pool (VERY Palm Springs if you ask us). You also have multiple options for your cocktail hour location if you so desire! Boutique hotels are classic locations for Palm Springs weddings, and Alcazar is one of our favorites!
